Our hotel was a short S train ride from central Copenhagen so we were frequently using it and the subway (and bus) system. You could only dream of a similar service back across the water on the mainland in the NW. It took minutes and saved hanging around for a taxi. I used it to Titanic quarter and later in the evening (10.50pm) when leaving event. It was time reliable, clean, comfortable, swift and probably cheaper than a taxi. I used a glider with others to travel to the Titanic venue for an event midweek in the evening. The pink ones are city wide (zero emissions), the light blue ones (Ulster bus) go beyond the city into the wider region and the dark blue buses (Glider) are the rapid transport service in the east and west of Belfast centre and the Titanic quarter. I was particularly impressed by the public transport system and how simple the buses are to understand by colour. I was on business but had some spare time and found the city safe and friendly. ![]() I live in the North West of England and only 30 minutes from Belfast by plane from Liverpool. ![]() Like a lot of people I have never visited any part of Ireland until this September (2023).
